Before & After Shelter Project

BEFORE

Hi Everyone,
This was the first official Kristin’s Kidz project and was very special for me because one of the things Kristin wanted to do was fix her Mom’s home. In fact on the trip in Tennessee we had a full on conversation about doing it in the Fall before her accident. FRIENDSHIP is everything to both her and I and I know if the situation was reversed she would be doing the same thing!! I have made an entire “KRISTIN list” and will make sure that everything she wanted to do gets done!! Kristin was truly my BEST FRIEND and I know that she was watching all of us as we worked day and night to complete this project. We moved her Mom out of the home and into a hotel while we worked around the clock!
A special thanks to Mike Kleizo, Sheri Sharman, Mike Gearhiser, Justin and Kelly Dransfeldt, Todd Reese, Dani Fancher and Samantha Thomas for all your countless hours of helping make one of Kristin’s dreams come true! Teamwork and real friends are what life is all about!

AFTER

Hi Everyone,
I wish there was a way to explain the feeling when Kristin’s Mom came back from the hotel and saw her new home! When I say that she was my BEST FRIEND, she really was! She truly was the most unselfish person I have ever known and always put her friends before herself! I have zero doubt that she was smiling when she saw how happy her Mom was when she saw her new home! All she ever wanted was to be happy, take care of her family, and be with her friends! Kristin loved palm trees and we did our best to make sure that there were palm trees all over this house. I am so thankful to Sheri Sharman for helping us the entire time and for loving Kristin unconditionally!! As so many of you know Sheri has been in my life since 1995 and has always been there for me, just like Kristin! These 2 women have been there for me through the good times and the bad! I have been so lucky to have 2 BEST FRIENDS like them! So many people use the word FRIENDSHIP and don’t really think about what it means. Kristin understood exactly what it meant to be a friend and never sold her INTEGRITY like other people did. The same people who used to say that they were BEST FRIENDS with us and then had to come up with crazy lies to justify why they traded friendship for money and even tried to come in between me and Sheri. In life people will come and go, but true friends will be there FOREVER! This is just the beginning of what MVP WORLD WIDE is going to be doing with KRISTIN’S KIDZ!
